Drifting In The Desert
Thanks to the help of SPN Performance and Nerdytopic Marketing, we managed to participate in both a NASA trackday and attend Desert Meihan this past weekend. After months of preparing, The Track Society managed to pull together another quality grassroots drifting event complete with food trucks, wall sliding, and a juggler on stilts?
It was much warmer this year compared to last year, and the addition of bleachers meant more people could view the drifting action. Hundreds of onlookers cheered as cars nearly missed impact with one another, and rushed to ensure drivers were okay when impacts were not avoided. Maximum Driftcast teamed up with the vendors to host a number of giveaways throughout the weekend. All the drivers went home with a few less bumpers and tires, and a lucky few added a laser cut trophy to their collection.
Here are a few photos we managed to snap throughout the weekend.
