Global Time Attack – Auto Club Speedway ROVAL

View our full gallery on our Smugmug. Auto Club Speedway was windy on Friday when our trailer pulled up. We’d spent the night at a local friends house and made a short journey to the track, stopping at a nearby diner for breakfast along the way. We rolled our NSX out of the trailer and inspected her recently repaired splitter to make sure everything had held up during the bumpy journey down the I-10. We accomplished some practice laps on … Read More

Our first session out on track followed shortly after. Virginia International Raceway is one of our favorite tracks. After having to deal with setting our brake bias at Road Atlanta, we made sure to double check our Wilwoods were handling the track well. We slowly cut down our time over the course … Read More

Global Time Attack Road Atlanta We arrived to Global Time Attack Road Atlanta’s test day excited for another go at one of our favorite tracks, but after warping our rotors on the first session out, we were set back quite a bit. Wilwood helped us out by overnight shipping new rotors to us, and after adjusting our brake bias we were back out on track in style. We put down a laptime of 1:39.614s before the rain set in. The following day … Read More

First Place at Auto Club Speedway

A chilly night spent rolled up in sleeping bags quickly brightened into a chaotic track event! Round two of the Global Time Attack event at Auto Club Speedway started out rocky. We had difficulties setting up in the paddock and found a nail inside our tire a few sessions in. After plugging the hole at a local shop and as a result the rest of the day was flawless from a mechanical and performance point of view. The car handled … Read More
