GKTech RB/VG Clutch Fan Adapter

If you want to use one of our super dooper awesome clutch fans on your RB/VG series motor then you will need to use one of these billet aluminium adapters. The PCD, bore size and the offset all differ from the SR to the RB/VG but this adapter is hub centric and leaves only a 0.07'' offset variance when compared to your standard RB/VG clutch fan with the standard clutch. Ie. it means that the fan will sit 0.07'' closer to the radiator when using our clutch fan with this adapter.

Our clutch fan is a proven performer with over 800 satisfied customers using these on the SR20's and compared to the RB/VG clutch fan you will see an increase in air flow of around 40% which is easily noticeable the second that you install the fan.

NOTE: Will not fit VL RB30's as they use a different clutch pack to the R31 RB30 motor

NOTE #2: The diameter of the fan is the same as an RB clutch fan (16.92'') and if your intercooler piping runs over the area that the clutch fan sits and you had to trim the standard clutch fan to get it to fit, then this fan will also have this issue and it is strongly advised to NOT trim the clutch fan as it can become unstable and break off causing significant damage. When installing the fan ensure that there is atleast 0.39''-0.78'' clearance between the fan and anything around it, keeping in mind that your engine moves when under acceleration and braking.

Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

What's the advantage of using the GKTech clutch fan adapter?
People tend to try and jerry up homemade adapters for their motor, our adapter has been specifically designed to suit our fan.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required just simply remove and refit.

Will this fit with my "insert brand of aftermarket clutch pack here"?
Unfortunately, we can't confirm fitment with aftermarket clutch packs. We have heard customers say that the adapter won't work with a Dayco but beyond that, we don't have any definitive answers.  

Is there anything else needed for installation?
You will need to supply your own clutch pack. In terms of the fan it will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge it is straightforward. Installation should take around 45 minutes. However, being the vital engine component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product.
