1991 Acura NSX

Owner: Ravi Tomerlin

The NSX races down the back straight at Hyperfest.

Purchased as a twice salvaged title and rebuilt piece by piece, this Acura NSX has a long history in racing. Named after one of her previous owners, Sabine has traveled across the country many times in her 25+ years. Now, as a Limited RWD competitor in Global Time Attack many small changes have been made. One of the only naturally aspirated cars competing in Global Time Attack, she makes about 325hp.
The NSX comes into the pitalne at Hyperfest.
Instead of a turbo-charger, the car uses ITBs to help make power, and weighs in at under 2400lbs. The main modifications on the car are the Wilwood big brake kit, and the Fortune Auto Dreadnaught suspension. In her opening season, Sabine and her driver became the ST2 champions in the NASA AZ region.

1991 Nissan 300zx

Owner: David Echols

This is my 1991 Nissan 300zx. This particular model is a slicktop. There was a limited number of slicktops made in the 90’s and now they are the hardest models to find. I wanted a slicktop (instead of a t-top) because it is a lighter and more stable car.

The parts currently installed on the car include: Tein coilovers, Greddy Sp1 mufflers connected to straight pipes, New style injectors, custom fender flares in the rear, XXR 536 wheels and Jspec front bumper.

The goal for this car is Global Time Attack. Although a few years away, I would like to swap the stock vg30de powerplant for something more simple and practical for a track set-up.
