GKTech SR/KA/RB/VG High Performance Engine Fan
The GKTECH high-performance engine fan has been designed and engineered in Australia with the intention of pulling more air than the factory item.
When tested on a dyno the GKTECH high-performance fan took less than half the time to cool down from 90 degrees to operating temperature (good for next time you're on the start line at the track).
Super easy to install, simply remove your factory fan (4 bolts) and install the new fan, it is a direct replacement clutch fan to suit SR, KA, RB, VG engines
An adapter is needed to fit RB/VG engines, as seen here: GKTECH RB/VG CLUTCH FAN ADAPTER(out of stock).
- Direct replacement of the standard fan
- Pulls 60% more air than the factory SR fan
- Pulls 40% more air than the factory RB fan

NOTE: Can NOT be used in conjunction with Nismo engine mounts on an S13/180sx as the mounts raise your motor approximately 0.78" (20mm) which will make our fan hit your radiator shroud (our fan is 0.59" (15mm) larger in diameter than the OEM SR20 fan) however S14/S15’s with Nismo engine mounts are fine and our fan will fit.
Adapter required for VG/RB application.
FAQ
What's the advantage of having more air flow?
We tested the clutch fan on a test vehicle in a controlled environment (on a dyno) with back to back tests and from 194 degrees fahrenheit it took less than half the time to go from 194 degrees fahrenheit to idle operating temperature.
Will this fit my car?
Please refer to the confirmed vehicle list in the item description. We do not sell any items that aren’t listed on our website and if we haven’t confirmed fitment on your car, then we don’t know if it will fit or not. Please do not ask.
How do clutch fans compare to thermo fans?
If you've ever been to the track with thermo fans you know that unless setup with a shroud and setup correctly, they're useless. Clutch fans with the standard shroud are the way to go.
What's the weight on the clutch compared to the standard item?
The standard clutch fan is 16.33'' in diamater and weighs in at 1.41lbs. Our new design is 16.92'' in diameter and coincidentally also weighs 1.41lbs.
What is the clutch fan made of?
The clutch fan has a metal center (like the factory unit) and is made of ABS plastic (like the factory unit).
Will I lose any engine power with the fan pulling more air?
No, with our dyno tests on the same car within 30 minutes of each test with multiple runs made we actually GAINED around 1% in power with the new clutch fan installed. The cause of this? There was less heat soak and everything was running cooler.
This all sounds too good to be true!
This isn't rocket science but we'll let you be the judge. Try it out, guaranteed 100% it'll blow you away (see what we did there! ha!). But seriously, this is one of our favourite products and before you go any buy any other cooling related parts, this is the one that will make the biggest difference.
Which way do I install it?
The fins on the fan are to taper back towards the engine.
